Vecteur K (Canada)
Vecteur K is an ambiant and intense Montréal-based progressive rock band. The band now has 3 studio albums available: La peur du désert (2009), Incident au Café (2016), and Stratigraphie, released in November 2023.
The band members are Cédric Charest-Lafond on keyboards, Alexandre De Sève on drums, François Fournier on bass, Marc-André Noël on guitar and vocals as well as Marc-Antoine Sauvé on guitar.
In Sylva (Canada)
Founded in 2021 by Quebec musicians Thomas Polychuck, a high-calibre singer-songwriter and guitarist, and Will Régnier (ex Huis), a multifaceted artist known for his talents as a drummer, composer and producer, In Sylva is a project which transcends musical borders while remaining resolutely in the tradition of progressive rock. The group must launch a first test on April 5. A concept album called “She”.
35 Tapes (Norway)
Founded in Oslo at the end of the 1970s, 35 Tapes (a reference to the 35 tapes of the Mellotron) did not, however, record during this period. They were too busy with other side projects. They decided to return to action in 2019 and made a notable debut with their first effort “Lost and Found”. Last year 35 Tapes released their third effort “Fabric of Time”. The group will be at their very first concert in North America!
RanestRane (Italy)
The Italian musicians have seven studio albums on their track record, the most recent of which Apocalypse Now was inspired by the film of the same name by director Francis Ford Coppola. Not a first for the group since it also composed a trilogy inspired by the film A Space Odyssey under the title of A Space Odyssey Part One (Monolith), Part Two (H.A.L.) and Final Part (Starchild). Other films that inspired the group: Shining, The Wall and Nosferatu Il Vampiro.
